Localization is more than just a linguistic translation. It involves a complex and comprehensive process whereby your product - whether it's software, technical documentation, on-line help, marketing copy or a website - is transferred from one language (source) to another (target), and at the same time is adapted to the linguistic, market, cultural and other specific norms and practices of the target country.
Our specialized localization department has a depth of experience managing the large-scale localization of projects in various fields, e.g. IT (SW and HW), medical technology, electronics, electrical engineering, automotive industry, finance and many others.
We assemble a realization team led by a project manager for each localization project. Other team members include professional translators (native speakers of the language in question), examiners, proofreaders, specialist consultants, technicians and DTP specialists.
During localization we employ special software to support translations, i.e. CAT tools, which enable us to maintain uniformity of terminology, and help create top quality, consistent translations. Translations are invariably made by professional translators using one or more CAT products.
