Translation of 500 SP (Standard Page) of contracts on building modifications from English to Czech in 30 working days. Working on this translation was a team of 4 translators, 6 proofreaders, 1 graphics expert and 1 project manager, who managed the entire project.
Translation of 6 pages of a conversation manual written in Czech into 35 world languages. Besides translation, it also involved a two-page treatment on the basic rules of phonetics and processing graphics using the PageMaker programme. Including proofreaders, almost 50 professional translators worked on the project (over two thirds of whom were native speakers); the project was led by three project managers.
Translation of 13 000 SP (almost 3.5 million words) from Czech to English, field of economics, IT and law. A weekly delivery of 1000 pages of translation, with work continuing uninterrupted across weekends. We maintained the special text format in line with the customer's requirements. The project was run by a team of 5 project managers, while translation was carried out by 23 core translators, 6 proofreaders, and 10 correctors checking the graphics.
Translation from Czech to English including proofreading by native speaker. 22 manuals covering the fields psychology and pedagogy. Total size was in excess of 700 SP. The complete order was finished in the course of 45 days. One part of the order also included the complete translation of the project website into English and German, which amounted to more than 150 NS. Working under the leadership of an experienced project manager were 10 translators, 4 native speakers and 8 proofreaders.
Translation of 3000 SP (almost 740 000 words) of specialist text from German to Czech. The order was carried out over the course of 5 months and involved the work of 6 experienced translators.
