Simultaneous - the interpreter translates concurrently
The interpreter translates at the same time the speaker is speaking. This type of interpreting is chosen for conferences, lectures, presentations and similar activities, generally those with a greater number of participants. For this type of interpreting we use technical interpreting facilities.
Due to the demanding nature of this type of interpreting, as a rule two interpreters will substitute one another every half hour.
